Why the timing makes the animation
An animated caption is only as good as its timing. If the highlight lands before or after the word, it looks off and pulls attention from the speaker. EasyCap gives every word its own start and end time, so a highlight, pop or colour change happens as the word is spoken, in Hindi and Hinglish as much as in English.
How it works
- 1
Transcribe with word timing
Choose your video and its spoken language. EasyCap writes down the speech and times each word separately.
- 2
Choose an animated style
Browse the caption templates: boxed highlights, glowing words, bold shadows and more. Change fonts and colours to suit your brand.
- 3
Fine-tune and export
Drag a word on the timeline if its highlight lands early or late, then export an MP4 with the animation rendered in.
Highlight the word that matters
Many styles colour the active word. You can also mark single words for emphasis, so the punchline or the number stands out more than the filler.
Use styles drawn for the script
A style designed for Latin letters can clip Devanagari, Tamil or Bengali characters. The templates are built to render each script cleanly, including taller and joined letters.
Keep movement readable
Fast animation on long lines is hard to follow. Two to four words per caption group gives the eye time to land before the next group arrives.
Find your language and your look
Explore Hindi captions, Hinglish captions, Bengali captions, or browse all supported caption languages. Choose from animated caption templates and check current plans and export options before starting a longer project.
Questions before you start
What is a word-by-word caption?
A caption where each word appears, or changes colour, at the moment it is spoken, instead of a whole line showing at once. It needs a timestamp for every word, which EasyCap generates.
Can I animate Hindi or Tamil captions?
Yes. The animated styles work with Devanagari, Tamil, Bengali and the other supported scripts, and with Roman script for Hinglish.
Will the animation be in an SRT file?
No. Subtitle files hold only text and timing. The animation is kept only in an MP4 export, where it is drawn into the video.
Can I try animated captions for free?
Yes. The free plan includes every caption style. Free exports carry an EasyCap watermark; paid plans remove it.
